Space Hacker (m/f/d)

We are looking for an junior hacker/ security specialist to work in classical systems security fields as well as embark on deeper in the new field of cyber security for space. A good understanding of the fundamentals of computing and experience in pen testing for network based protocols or software is a plus. In our company we have several senior security and space engineering experts and look forward to start forming a strong team in the sector of space systems security. 

Profile

• You are a hacker, cracker or someone who has a deeper understanding of operating systems, networks and computer technology
• A bachelors degree in computer science, information systems, any equivalent education
• You understand, follow and respect the generally established ethics of computer hacking
• work experience or open source project experience is a plus
• any advanced certifications such as CCNA, CCSP, RHCE, RHCA, LPIC3, SANS GIAC, GCIA, GCIH, CISSP, CASP or SIEM related it is also a plus
• Advanced understanding of TCP/IP, common networking ports and protocols, traffic flow, system administration, OSI model, defense-in-depth and common security elements
• Hands-on experience analyzing of logs, network data (e.g. Netflow, FPC), and other attack artifacts in support of incident investigations
• Experience with vulnerability scanning solutions such as MetaSploit, NMAP and in general fuzzers of different kinds

• Safeguarding information system assets by identifying and solving potential or actual security problems
• Protecting systems by defining access privileges, control structures, and resources

• Determining security violations and inefficiencies by conducting periodic audits
